Costa Rica, Egypt. Italy, Mexi-, co, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Pago Pago.■ Paraguay, Portugal, and Portuguese Colonies, Siam. Servia. and Postal Agencies in Chinese Treaty Ports, id for each oz. or fraction thereof; all other places 2.) . tor the first oz. or fraction thereof, ,ai)d lid for each succeeding oz. or fraction thereof. Post Cards.— lnland, single, id; reply, Id; all other places, single, Id; reply 2d. Printed Papers (including Books and Magazines, not registered).—All places, id per 2oz. Magazines (registered). inland, id for every Boz. or fraction thereof. Foreign, id per 2oz. or fraction thereof. One end must be left open. ' Registration. —2d additional for all places. War Tax.—id additional, is required on all the above. Newspapers. —Town and Inland Id each, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ceylon, India. Jamaica. Natal, Orange River, South .Sea Islands, and Transvaal, Id each paper. If unctoi Boz. sent by first available route; over Soz sent by direct steamer only ; unless specially addressed and paid a' rate of id for first 4nz. and id for each succeeding 2oz. All other places U each under 4oz. amd id each extra -oz. telephones. Cnarges. —At Exchanges continuously open—Business establishments, £" ; private residences, £H per annum. Exchanges not continuously open, an equal charge of £5. Telephone Exchanges at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin. Invercargill, Napier, Hastings. Palmerston North, and Wanganui are open all day and all night. The other Exchanges chiefly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PARCEL POST. Parcels posted in the Dominion for delivery in New Zealand, not exceed-
