SUDDEN DEATH. Per Press .AsanmATiON. To Kiriti, February 14. An elderly single man, named John Scott, a resident of Mangapehi, -died suddenly on Saturday evening when returning to Tc Kuiti from the racecourse. At the inquest to-day a verdict was returned of death from natural causes. ACCIDENT NEAR TAURANCA. Tauranga, February 14. While driving to the Ohauiti Kstatc, six miles from town, on Saturday, a trap, containing Mrs Wilson and -Miss Barnett (daughter of Mr Maughan JJarnett, the Auckland City organist), overturned. Mrs Wilson was uninjured, hut Miss Barnett suffered a fracture of the base of the skull, and now lies in a semi-conscious condition in the Tauranga Hospital. j
