<*•» COUNTY COUNCIL PLANT LOST. Information was received in Haw era I last night (states the News) that the j Havvera County Council's tar boilers on Turuturu road Mere on lire, and that the engine and shed had been destroyed. The engine was quite new, and had been put in only yesterday morning by Messrs Booth, McDonald and Co. It is said that when the ' lire started an attempt was made to take off the tar, but the whole mass caught.
