According to the Echo de Belee rumors are current that a Zeppkelin was wrecked by French airmen near Hainault. It is elsewhere stated that on the night of January 29 the Zeppelin which raided Paris was destroyed at Ziguo. The engines were caught in some trees, and the envelope collided with some block-houses, which were greatly damaged. The Germans are endeavoring to conceal the accident. THREE PEOPLE KILLED. London, February 10. Official: Two women and a child were injured in the raid. A number of aeroplanes ascended to attack the raiders, which retreated without lighting. PROTECTION AGAINST RAIDS. The Home Office notifies that Lord Jhench had made an elaboration of the system of warning by the police, factories, and others in the event of an expected raid, but insists that the warnings must not be passed on to the public until certain raiders are coming to a particular district, otherwise they would interfere with munition work.
