The Admiralty denies the German report that a Zeppelin bombed the Caroline on the Humber, and that the ship sank, with great loss of life. No warship or merchantman was struck during the raid. An official notice which hag been published in a Lincolnshire town sta« tes that persons seen flashing lights or letting off rockets or fireworks when hostile aircraft ar P present or are expected will he fired on without notice.
