AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.

“A CHILD OF COD.”

The whole of the second half of the programme at His Majesty’s last night was occupied by an exceptionally good feature film, entitled, “A Child ot God,” which is in four filmed parts. It is produced by the Reliance Film Co., of America, and is an achievement in motion picture not previously eclipsed by anything seen here. The story is an intensely interesting one, in which daring romance, adventure, love and sacrifice are seen in ever-shifting rapidity, and holds the onlooker enthralled to the end. The supporting films include the New Zealand Hospital Ship Maheno, “Gussle’s Backward Way" (Keystone), “War Gazette,” “Charming Switzerland,” and “Cause for Thanksgiving” (Vitagraph).
