The Taranaki tournament was continued yesterday. The weather condi-, tions were not perfect, slight rain falling in the afternoon, though not enough to seriously hamper play:— SECTION LEADERS. The following are leading in their respective sections: — Section A.—Johnson (West End), 5 wins; Loudon (Wanganui), 1 wins, one loss; Medley (N.P.), 3 wins, 2 losses. Section B.—Smith (Fitzroy), (5 wins; 11 .Smart, Sutherland, McMillan, and Morshead each 3 wins and 2 losses. Section C.—Tarrant (Hawera), 5, wins, one" loss; Betts (Stratford), 4 wins, 1 loss; Curteis (Elthain), 4 wins, 2 losses. Section I).—A. K. Smart (N.P.), Abbott (Fitzroy),' Rankin (Mt. Eden), each 4 wins and one loss. Section E—Fred Newell (West End), 5 wins, one loss; Carey (Patea), 4 wins one loss.
