DOMINION TOURNAMENT. NEWTOWN WINS CHAMPIONSHIP Per Press Association. Christchurch, January 15. The final rinks for the championship were played to-day and attracted a large concourse of spectators. r f he rinks were: Newtown—C. Davis, A. Davies, A, Duff, J. Laughton (s) .19 ; v. Christchurch—J, H. Seager, J. Caughley, W. S. Atkinson, B. Torrence (s) 18. At the conclusion of the game, the president of the Council (Mr M. 1' Barnett) presented Laughton (the skip of the winning rink) with the bowling banner, a handsome piece of work given by the ladies of Dunedin on the occasion of the tournament held at Dunedin in 1914.
