FIRE

SHED AND OUTHOUSE BURNED. CADELLAC CAR AND BRAKE DESTROYED. At 2.30 o'clock this morning ;in alarm of fire was received from Swansea lload, and when the brigade arrived a few minutes later, it was found that Mr J. Donald's big shed was ablaze. The lire had a good hold, and very little service conld bo rendered by the brigade, as the water pressure was very weak. The fire took its own course and burnt itself out at about .3.30. Before the Brigade arrived on the reene, Mr Donald, assisted by Mr Jackson and two friends, organised a bucket brigade, but all to no avail. It is unfortunate for Mr Donald, that during th© holiday season be should loso his big Cadillac motor ear and brake which were stored in the garage. All outhouse was also burnt to the ground, but the house, which was near by, was untouched. The total' of Mr Donald's I loss is not known at present. ■ M»'llWll|l'»limH IWMM
