In one pocket Was a camp pass' hearing the name of “Pt, T. Patterson; N.Z. Riiiss.t”! Private!-William Dixon, 9th Reinforcements, aged 85, who-o(une from Dunedin] committed suicide at Trentham Hospital yesterday. He was admitted a few days ago. in an apoplectic fit. While his attendant was getting tea for him he hanged himself. An •inquest was held,-and the coroner returned a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane, no blame being attachable to anyone. . ic ; ■ ■
