According to the Weekly Despatch’s Stockholm corresj&Hdent, Ford’s expedition was a. Cerrdan plot, of which Ford whs' the tictim* fjhe plan was hatched two months (ago in Berlin. Schwimmer was designated to secure a rich American to finance the trip, and it was hoped that Sweden would officially receive the mission. Then Mr Bryan was to be brought to meet the King, and finally Herr von Bethmann Hollweg was to invite Mr “Bryan on a mission to Berlin. Mr Ford returns disillusioned.
