AMUSEMENTS.

HiS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. “THE HEADLINER.” The new series of pictures being screened at His Majesty’s Theatre include some very fine films. The programme boasts of two star dramas, “The Headliner” and “The ituse.” The former is produced in one of Los Angelos’ leading vaudeville theatres, and includes a marvellous aquatic performance by the leading actor inside a huge glass tank filled with water, the artist remaining under water several minutes in full view of the audience eating and drinking with ease. The picture received a great ovation. “The Iluse,” a feature drama in two parts, was closely followed by the audience. Other pictures shown were “Hash House Frauds” (Keystone), “Pimple’s Peril,” “The Healers,” and the popular “War Gazette.”
