OBJECTION TO EXTENSION.
THE LIFE OF PARLIAMENT.

Sixty Unionist members of the House of Commons met and objected to a year’s extension of Parliament {is!being too long. The meeting condemned the. preservation of the Plural Voting Bill in Parliament and the Registration, Bill. A certain number who opposed' were spofjt^ipen.
ARMY VOTE POSTPONED.
(Received 11 a.m.) London, December 14. In the House of Commons the Army vote was postponed for a week, awaiting the details' of the Lord Derby scheme. .
45,750 ENEMY INTERNED.
(Received 11 a.m.) London, December 14. ,Jn the House of Commons, Mr Tennant stated that civilians and 13,476 naval and military enemy aliens were interned in Britain.
