CARDINAL BOURNE'S FAITH IN THE ALLIES, SISTERS ENGLAND AND IRELAND. ! I' United Press Association. (Received 9.55 a.m.) Rome December 12. i The Corriere d'ltalia had an interview with Cardinal Bourne, in the course of which ho said he held steadfast to his faith in the Allies' final victory. Germany had succeeded in bringing about a closer union of the British Empire. England and Ireland had acted like two sisters who quarrelled together, but when threatened by outsiders immediately turned against the latter.
