'At the wool sales, 8899 bales were offered, whereof 493 G were New Zealand. There was a, good selection of New Zealand slipcs; otherwise, it was a miscellaneous lot. There was a good attendance, with strong competition from Yorkshire and the United States. Combing merinos advanced ten per cent, above the November closing prices, faulty five per cent., greasy scoured crossbreds 7-Jd, sjipes par to a half-penny.
