ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
WHIRLED TO DEATH.
I'eu Press Association., Palmcrston North, December 7. A shocking accident occurred at Higgiu's mill at Tokouiarn this morning. A flax hand named William McLaren was oiling the machinery when his clothes caught in the shafting .and he was dashed round with terrible effect, resulting in hit death. Deceased was aged twenty-two, and a single man. His mother resides at Tokomaru.
