Tli/ 1 A nglo-Riusiau and French marines who have assisted in the defence of Belgrade since October, 1914, reached Mona stir on November 16th and following days. General Picot, the ■ French Commander, states that he left Belgrade a few minutes before the German occupation, first destroying their guns. The French contingent, *by forced marches, reached Monastic without the loss of a single man, | although they suffered much hardship in crossing the Albanian fastnesses with their trackless paths, through the most inhospitable region in the world. The*-contingent had only bread for food. The situation at Monastir is unchanged and the Bulgarians are still arrested south of Pfilep. It is reported that von Galhvitz, with an Army • Corps, is coining to the aid of the Bulgarians against, the Anglo-French. The Serbians, on the morning of the f 21st, drove hack the Bulgarians round for eight kilometres. | The enemy, casualties were ten htousand. «
