HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "ATTORNEY FOR THE DEFENCE." The new change of pictures tonight at His Majesty's Theatre has as its star attraction, a powerful Lubin drama in two parts, entitled "The Attorney for the Defence." Should justice come before ambition? is the point to be decided in this thrilling drama. A young lawyer knowing of a criminals guilt, succeeds in obtaining his acquittal. The criminal afterwards nearly brings about the death of the- lawyer's fiancee. In connection with this big film, is a pathetic drama by the Edison Company entitled "The Portrait in the Attic." "The Salt Industry" is a very good educational film. The Thanhouser Company are responsible for "His Sister's'Kiddies," and Vitagraph for "The Ageless Sex," both of which are laughter-producers. The "Gaumont Graphic" is a particularly interesting number. This programme will be repeated to-morrow evening.
