THE VERONA RAID. [United Press Association, i •Rome, November 16". A Verona message gives details of the aid raid. Three aeroplanes descended in a mist, and three bombs were from a height of 5000 feet. The crowd on the piazza dispersed,- but many <who took (refuge in ja porch were struck-by fragments, of a bornH. It was here that the tn&ijority, mostly women, were killed. DEATHS FROM BLOOD-POISONING POISON CAS IN BOMBS. (Received 11.50 a.m.) Rome, November 16. Several deaths have occurred at Verona owing to blood-poisoning, which was apparently due to poison gas in the bombs.
