AUSTRO-CERMAN LINE BROKEN. UITITBD t'BSU IAasOOIiTtOM (Received 1 a.m ) Petrograd, November 11. A communique states: Desperate fighting took place on the banks of the Clierniavka. We broke the AustroGerman lines, prisopeifi ng 2000 and taking twenty machine-guns. A large number of the enemy were drowned in the river. ? ( ; i jf • i- i i . / - GERMANS BEATEN BACK. RUSSIAN SUCCESSES ON WHOLE FRONT. (Received 1 a. m.) London, November 11. The High Commissioner reports Petrograd reports that in the region north of Kolky the Russians beat back German attacks at Guta and Lissovskaya. South-east of Bondka we broke through the enemy’s position, taking two thousand prisoners. Many Germans were drowned in the river Cherniayka. There have been small successes in the whole eastern front.
