OIL STEAMER NORO STRUCK A ROCK. Umted Press Association. (Received ill a.m.) Hobarfc, Aovember 10. The British and Imperial Oil Company's steamer Nord, from Singapore to Hobart, with .i cargo ol Benzine, went on the rocks near Cape Gillar. The vessel got off, but was badly damaged, making water rapidly, and foundered nine hours later in fortyeight fathoms. The crew of thirty-six Chinese and seven Europeans escaped in the boats.
