AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. (Notes by Cicero.) Bating at Elicrslio will condo le to-morrow (Saturday) when some good racing should be witnessed. Wannai will only have to negotiate the country, to pay a dividend in the Hunters’ Steeplechase. .Mandoline and .Mossman are nicely treated in the Cordon Handicap. Despite bis great weight (13.1) Black Northern will have a following in the Manukan H miles. Colonel Soult has plenty of weight in the King Edward Handicap, but should be considerably benefitted by Wednesday race. I’e Papapa < I '.s dnintly treated after her 'win in Hie Cuineas and may give most trouble to the top-weight. Kitty Bellaiis is well treated in the Epsom Handicap, hut will not have the services ol Doeley, and both Astor and Clenroy should account for her. Lady Jack won so easily on Wednesday that she will possibly start favorite again. Kekanui looks the most dangerous opponent of Santa Rosa’s daughter. Analogue ran a lair race in the Cuineas and in a weak field may show a bold front in the Normanby Handicap. When one considers that Moraghan gave Loyal Arch a chance against Desert Cold and Co. a favorite should not be difficult to find in the Welter.
