Westcourt shot out at the distance, but was soon chased by Patrobas. A neck and neck race ensued, and, amid great excitement, Patrobas won by hall a neck, a length separating second and third. Time, 3min 28isec. Garlin was fourth, Lardner fifth, Football sixth, with Burrabadeen last. Cup Steeplechase. —Expiation (10.2) 1, Coradjill (11.2) 2, Gold Valo (10.3) 3. Seven others started. Scots Guard fell. Coradjill was beaten by seven and a-half lengths. Time, -lmin 9sec. Yan Yean Stakes—Gai 1, Panacre 2, One 3. Thirteen others started.
