RUSSIANS REPORT CAPTURES. CERMANS DEFEATED AT RICA. TJnited Press Association. The High Commissioner reports:— London. October 24 (1 a.m.) Petrograd reports that in the Ivomarovo (! J ) region, around the village of Kolly. we captured a further 22 officers and 500 men. The Germans defending Domes Ness, on the Gulf of Riga, were defeated. CERMANS FALLING BACK. OPERATIONS ON BALTIC COAST. (Received 11.25 a.m.) Copenhagen, October 24. The Russian expedition in Courland, which is stronger than the Germans imagined, have pressed orward, and since Saturday morning the Germans have been fulling back. .It is believed British submarines scared off the German warships. , .
