ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
SUDDEN DEATH IN BACK BLOCK TENT. Constable Townsend, of Kltham. received word yesterday morning ol the (sudden demise of a man named Peter Keenau at a tent about four miles from Omoana. From the meagre details available, the Argus learned that Keeuau, along with a mate named McGuire, were working op the roads in the employ of the Public Works Department. Keenau complained of not feeling well and expired during the night. No cause of death is at present known. McGuire at once brought word to Omoana. aud Constable Townsend, so soon as he could make the, necessary arrangements, proceeded ,to Omoana by motor car to bring the body into Eltham. It is understood that the body will have to be carried a considerable distance as the tent where the two men are living is located in a spot. that it is practicable for no vehicle to drive to it. it is likely that an inquest will be necessary.
