lEW ZEAUANDERS PRISONERS OF WAR IN TURKEY. Pkb Prkss Assoout .om. Wellington. September 16. A cablegram has reached the Deoiice Minister (Hon. J. Allen) gi/'ng he names of five New Zealand sol; Hers who are prisoners in the Hand* ,1 the Turks. The news has come rom the Turkish Bed Crescent at Constantinople, through the British Red Cross. The names of the hve neu, who were previously reported , H missing, are being rommunweted 10 the next-of-kin.. The Minister stated to-night that six New Zeaianders were now known to be prn*>„ers of war. The name of the fust man "reported a prisoner had come through the American Bureau at Constantinople. The latter message had come from the Red Cross. '111(1 it seemed reasonable to assume that other names had still to be reported through one source or the other.
