KILL DEFENCELESS REFUGEES, (Received 11.40 a.m.) London, September 16. Five German aeroplanes, flying very low, bombed the encampment at Kabuin. where there are a thousand refugees. A large number of women and children were killed. GERMANS REPORT PROGRESS. NORTH-EAST ADVANCE RESISTED. (Received 11.33 a.m.) Amsterdam, September 16. A German communique states:— "Hiiidenburg is programing in the [direction of .lacohstadt,. and the attack is progressing north-east and north of Ylna. Our advance northwest of Grodno is.being stubbornly resisted. The Russians between Janoro and Pin.sk attempted to arrest Mackensen's pursuit. We broke through the enemy and occupied the district between the. Pripet and \Tasliolda and Pinsk. The Russian attack in the south-eastern theatre has collapsed. -
