[To The Editor Stratford Posx.J^g Sir.—l regret very much that avoidable circumstances prevented attending this meeting on last. Emm accounts of the meeting see no word ol praise to the late miltee for the valnahle work have done and the time they spent in such a good cause. the defeat of some of them at election of a new Committee seems me nothing short of Why the late Secretary. Air J. Richards, was not returned at head of the poll instead of pushed out altogether I cannot the life of me understand, and only come to one conclusion there is absolutely no gratitude in community like this to a man does so much gratuitous work Air Richards hits done for this Again, when the exi>eiises of a her of the Committee (who has ready donated heavily to the in connection with a trip to \\ ton came to he queried. B. in my opinion, has done his faithfully and well, and if only knew the tremendous amount time lie has put into this work would realise the injustice that been done to him. I trust.
