STRATFORD GOLF CLUB.

Mixed foursomes (13 holes) wore played on the 19th far prizes presented by Mr A. F. Grant, Mrs Grant giving tea. When the scores were put in, it us\s seen that Mr and Mrs S. Spence and Mr Abraham and Howard had tied with net 70, and they played four more holes. Mr Abraham and Mrs Howard, having a handicap of 3, they put in a score of 34, net 331, and their ojyjonents 23, the match thus going to Mr Abraham and Mrs Howard by 1 stroke on 17 holes. There were 48 players, and with line weather, both players and visitors thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The scores were as follows: —• MIXED FOURSOMES. P. Wright and Miss O’Brien 70— o— 3.
