On Monday. 9th iust., at my Ilren.ni yards, I had a fine yarding of all classes of cattle with a ; good attendance. Bidding throughout was brisk, competition being well maintained to the end of tlie. sale, prices obtained being right, ahead of late values., Empty heifers,- store cows, and steers ot any
age were in keen demand. Mr R. Kent’s dairy cows sold at from £5 Ids to £l4 ss, averaging £8 10s 3d for the, line;. Mr J. Jones’ herd sold at from £5/15s to £ll. averaging £ll 3s.
