SUGAR AND BANANA PLANTATIONS RUINED. United Press Association. (Received 1.3.5 p.m.) Kingston (Jamaica), August 18. A terrific hurricane caused damage .to the extent of ten million sterling, along the coasts. Sugar and banana plantations have been ruined, but the loss of life is inconsiderable. .■'.,'
