Messrs R. Masters (member of the Education Board), aud P. Skoglund (chairman of the Stratford School School Committee) leave for Wellington by the express to-morrow morning to interview the Minister of Education regarding the establishing of a High School in Stratford. Mr Skoglund will be absent about three days, having decided to postpone his annual leave for the present.
Mr J. Mulvey, Chief Clerk of the Stratford Post Office, has received jk>tice of .transfer to New Plymouth, where he will take up a similar position. Mr Mulvey. who;is a, popular officer of the Department, both with the men and the public, has been in Stratford a little over two years. In this time, he has made many friend*, who, though sorry to lose him, will wish him continued success and promotion.
