Lnik, hotelkeeper, was charged with linving under his control on June l?(>tli a bottle with a label affixed thereon, and, without destroying such label, making use of the bottle for the purpose, ol bottling liquor (whisky) for sale, contrary to section 210 of the Licensing Act. The analyst's report showed that the liquor was found to bo of the standard required by the Sale of Food Act, but liquor from a similar .unopened bottle contained less caramel than was contained in the whisky from the opened bottle. His Worship pointed out that the maximum penalty was £2OO, and imposed a minimum fine of t'-'O.
