At the annual meeting of the Victorian Racing Club, the chairman stated that the policy would bo to keep the expenses down to the minimum. It was proposed to invest as much of the club's funds (is the committee* thought wise in the Federal war loan, believing it was a national and patriotic duty. Notwithstanding the large decreas;? in the profits of the last Cup meeting, the year's surplus was £12,000.
