The latest issue of tlie War Cry contains the following:— It has l)een requested by tho Prime Minister that all religious bodies throughout the Dominion unite in a clay of Intercession and Prayer on Sunday, August Btli. Notwithstanding the fact that The Salvation Army has already conducted such a day throughout the entire Territory, and in fact. The Army World. The Commissioner has naturally, readily agreed to Minister’s suggestion. and. Salvationists everywhere will heartily respond, we are sure. The crisis of the hour is driving Christians everywhere more and more to prayer as individuals, and it is fitting that all organisations simultaneously petition the Throne of Clod on behalf of the Empire, and as we firmly believe—-the Glory of God, and the bringing in of the Reign of Righteousness. >
