TRAINING NOTES. Per Phess [Association. Christchureh, August -I. Little work of interest was done at Riccarton this morning. Daylight Bill and Cardiff did a round over the steeplechase fences. Daylight BiH blundered at first but afterwards both gave a good display. The remainder of the horses were confined to short sprints and slow work. A number of Dunedin horses arrived last night.
The following are the final acceptors for the Australian Hurdles: — Lord Grey. Wueden. .lack Rice. Fxbridge. Chess, Ballista. Van Horareigh. Admiral Grant, Wisconsin, Flavel. La Fidelia, Rabeny. and Vengeful.
