AUSTRIAN BOMBARDMENT IN THE ADRIATIC. United PhesS Association. (Received J 1.20 a.m.) Koine, July '27. An Austrian light cruiser and low destroyers bombarded the Adriatic coast railway between Seiugallia and Pesai'o and the towns l/ano and Seuigaelli'a. Two hydroplanes bombarded Aneona. .Damage was slight, there being no casualties. AUSTRIAN PROMISE TO RESPECT HISTORICAL WOKKS. (Received 11,20 a.m.) Zurich. July 27: In reply to an appeal, the Austrof Hungarian Government promised to respect churches and sacred monuments in Italy if thevVwere not used for military purposes.
