A London cablegram states that Jl r ,j. 14. Reid, of Ellerslie, New Zealand, has purchased the famous racehorse Solferino, and also the colt Winkle, a three-year-old filly (halfsister to Chili), and two youngsters closely related to Prince Palatine. A final reminder is given to horseowners and trainers that acceptances for all events of the North Taranaki Hunt meeting close to-night at 9 o’clock.
