MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. United Press Association (Received 10.2 d a.m.) Melbourne, July 23. A scheme is in hand for the disposal of metals, including the commandeering of all supplies' of metals and metallic products, which will be sold at auction under Government control, and the proceeds less the charges paid to tin* owners.
