Roget de Lisle's remains were convoyed from Choisy le, Roi to the Arc de Trioniphe, where his great song, "The Marsellaise," was sung by many thousands, President Poincare and the Ministers participating in the procession. Thence the procession went to the Hotel des Invalides. where the remains were placed next to Napoleon's. 1
