GERMAN TR3CKS AGAIN. (Received 9.11 a.in.) i Rome, July 11. Considerable petrol has been found hidden underground near the Kaiser’s villa at Corfu. Several German officers, posing as archoelogists, were camped at Gasturi and frequently explored the coast and visited the islands to the north-west of Corfu. With a wireless plant installed at the Kaiser’s villa, it was possible for communication being sent to a submarine watching the enemy ships. (Received 12.30 p.m.) Athpns, July 11. Tt is semi-officially denied, that the Kaiser’s villa is being used as a submarine base.
