EVACUATION OF TRENTHAM.
NEW QUARTERS OF THE TROOPS Per Press 'Association. . * Wellington, July 0 The Trentham regiment, 2800 strong, is going to Rangiotu, seven miles from the Foxton line, and will he in the new camp by Sunday. The 6th Infantry, 1200 strong, are going on the same line further down. They will leave for there on Sunday. The 7th fnfantry, 1200 strong, are going to Waikanae. and half left this morning. The whole of the .Mounted RinVs, Artillery, and Engineers, are proceeds ing to Tauherenikau, and an advance party of Mounteds left last night, the whole of the remainder going to-day. Artillery and the Army Service* Corps remain at Trentham till Monday. Colonel Potter and the Trentham headquarters' staff will become an inspectional staff to regularly visit camps. No tents will he struck in Trentham, the men in the new camps being provided with fresh tents from the various districts, The whole question as to when the Trentham Camp will be again available for occupation will denend on the reports of tho 1 medical authorities.
