Air Edwin T. Norris, at present registrar of Victoria Colic,. . has been appointed registrar of the New Zealand University. The Pres?. Association states t hat t here were 1... „y-three applicants. Obituary: Robert Archibald, "'ember of the old firm of Seoul! md Archibald, who erected the ( .eminent Offices on Lambton ( y and other large buildings in V .dngtfia, aged 80. To-morrow ( Wednesday) is the, twen-ty-first anniversary of tbe birth of H.R.H. Edward ' Albert ChrLuan George Andrew Patrick David, Prince of Wales. His Royal Highness entered Osborne College for the purpose of entering the Navy in 1907. He completed his course there and in 1909 went to Dartmouth, where he remained till the completion of his course in 1911. He was created Prince of Wales on his sixteenth birthday, June 23rd, 1910, and in the following year was formally invested and presented to the Welsh people by his Royal father at Carnarvan Castle. The Prince joined the colours when war broke out, and has served with distinction with his Regiment in Flanders ever since. No doubt his attainment of majority will be fittingly celebrated by tbe troops who love him, even though they may dance to the music of German shells. Perhaps they may celebrate it by doing some fine work worthy of the day.
