About the second week in July, a transport full of our wounded soldiers is due at Wellington, when there will bo a great deal to do in attending to the wants of our boys. It will be understood, therefore, that too much material and money cannot be at the disposal of the willing workers at such a trying period, and every endeavour should be made in the Stratord district, with others, to supply the needful. Daily Factory Co., Ltd., hold in September last, it was decided to contribute one-half per cent, of the value of the milk supply during the continuance of the war or until a war tax was imposed, and it was determined by the directors that such contribution should be devoted in equal parts to the Patriotic Fund and the Belgian and British Relief Fund. In pursuance of this purpose payments have been made by this company from time to time, which including the payment made this month, make a total contribution from this source of £(]()().
