Mr E. J. Greenstreet, a cousin of Captain Greenstreet, of the Remuera, returned by the Matai to Xevv land from Canada after an alxseuce of 22 years. Mr Greenstreet came originally from Christchurch

The resignations of Dr. D. V. Myers, J. A, Marshall, and S. Haslett, house surgeons, and Dr. W. McCaw, honorary physician. Children's Hospital, and Sister B. Huddlestone (whose services have been accepted by tho military authorities 1 ! have been accepted with regret by the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.

The passengers by. the Maitai from America yesterday included Archbishop Redwood, who is returning to New Zealand after thirteen months' absence. His Grate attended the Maiist Conference in Prance, afterwards proceeding to Home, where he had an audience with the Pope. Archbishop Redwood also travelled through Spain, and thence proceeded to to America. While in Rome he met Mother Mary Joseph Aubert, a well-known local nun. who has done much in the cause of charity here.
