AMUSEMENTS.
H.M. THEATRE. An excellent budget of cinema novelties was displayed before an apperciative audience last night. The chief feature is a masterful drama by Turner Film Co., “Through the Valley of Shadows.” This is a drama that aljways appeals to mothers and daughters for its truthfulness in exposing the many shams of the world. “The Broken Hill Tragedy” is a good picture. “The War Gazette.” as usual, reproduces remarkable scenes direct from the battle front. “Glimpses of Bird Life” is an interesting nature study. “Zip. the Dodger,” is a funny Keystone, and another good comedy is “Miss Raffles/’
