SUBMARINE VICTIMS. United Pans Association. Potrograd, June 7. A German submarine in the Gulf of Riga sank the transport Yenessei. Thirty-two were saved. Russian mines and submarines sank or damaged three of the enemy’s ships. London, June 7. A submarine sank the steamer Dnnnett Head and the trawler Persinnon north of Scotland. The crews were saved. ABERDEEN STEAMER SUNK. BARQUE HOLED OFF IRISH COAST.
. (Received 9.20 a.m.) London, June 7, A submarine sank the Aberdeen steamer Star of the West. The crew landed at Peterhead. The barque Sunlight, sugar-laden for Liverpool, was torpedoed off the Irish Coast. A trawler landed the crew at Queenstown. MINE-LAYER MINED. \ LOSS OF FRENCH VESSEL. RESCUE OF PART OF CREW. (Received 9.50 a.m.) Paris, June 7. Official.—The French minelayer Casablanca was mined at the entrance to a bay in the Aegean Sea. The British picked up the captain, one officer, and sixty-four men. Possibly other survivors landed and were taken prisoners by the Turks. GERMANY PAYS COMPENSATION. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Loudon, June 8. Germany has agreed to compensate the owners of the Ellis Pontos.
