H.IVI. THEATRE. Charles Chaplin.” the famous Keystone comedian, will again be in evidence this evening in two fine Kevstone farces “His Musical Caicei. Charlie as a piano mover with a donkey cart succeeds in getting things decidedly mixed, being performed in his own original way, which is sure to make the onlooker very merry. A famous play drama, “The Redemption of DaVid Conson,” is a story of two Quakers’ dream, wherein he lives in the shadow of Nemesis who shows him the right and wrong of his great life. “The War Gazette” includes— Bridging the Yser, British Colonial horsemen watching over trenches, Belgians in action at Ramscapelle, the defence of Scarborough , the Huns sacrilege, mitrailleuse in action, an alHfr corps in the snow, etc. “Summer in the North” is an artistic scenic.

THE WHITE SLAVE TRAFFIC. To-night, at His Majesty’s Theatre, there will be screened (by arrangement with the Feature Film Co.), a realistic film exposing the horrible slave traffic. In deciding to film the story, the makers realised that, in dealing with such delicate material, anything in the nature of sensationalism was to be scrupulously avoided. What bad to'be accomplished was to lay bare the broad facts' of an infamous trade, expose the methods of those employed in it, and by the fullest publicity warn both parents and thendaughters of the terrible danger at their gates. This, according to leading press writers, has been successfully acacomplished. A special supporting programme has been arranged.
