LOCAL AND GENERAL.
The arrangements for the Chrysanthemum Show are now complete, and patrons should spend a very enjoyable evening. Various competitions and a musical programme will help to add to the evening’s ynjoymont.
The annual meeting of members of the Stratford A. and P. Association, which it was intended to hold next Saturday, lias been postponed to a future date, due notice of which will be given by the secretary, Mr Sidney Ward.
In esterday’s football fixtures, New Plymouth Technical College beat the Stratford High School by 17 points to 8. Inglewood 111. forfeited to Stratford 111. Stratford Ist Juniors journeyed to Kltham, and after a close game, Kltham scored in the last few minutes and won by 6 to 8.
