WINTER SHOW.

Great preparations are being made at the Coronation Hall to provide for the accommodation and effective staging of the numerous exhibits that are expected for the Show which opens on June 9th, and continues to .June 12th. The committee has decided to utilise the Concert Room for exhibits, and already the whole of the space has been taken up. Applications are being received by every mail from all parts of New Zealand lor space, for, in most cases, working machinery, so that the Show, this year, should have a very animated appearance. Preparations are being made to exhibit tlie three Gold Nuggets that are to lie rallied, and the quilt which the ladies have undertaken to produce will also be on exhibition. Intending exhibitor* are reminded that entries close on Saturday next, 29th inst.
